Protecting your privacy is important to Royal Farms. This Royal Farms Privacy Policy (’Policy’) describes how Royal Farms and its subsidiaries and affiliated companies collect, use, disclose and safeguard the personal information you provide on Royal Farms’s websites, www.Royal Farms.com and www.RoFoRewards.com, and through or in connection with our mobile apps or other software- and Internet-enabled programs and services sponsored by Royal Farms (the “Sites”) as well as information collected when you visit our stores or otherwise communicate or interact with Royal Farms. The Privacy Policy does not address the privacy practices of any third parties that is not owned, controlled or affiliated with Royal Farms.
Information Collection
Information Collected Automatically
Each time you visit the Sites, you are agreeing to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the accompanying Terms and Conditions of Use. We encourage you to ready the Privacy Policy and to use the information it contains to help you make informed decisions.
Some examples of automatic information we may collect are as follows:
- We may record your internet service provider’s address, your internet protocol or IP address, the web page from which you came, your web browser software, the type of handheld or mobile device used to link to the web page, and the language settings on your web browser;

We may use this information in a variety of ways, including to determine which of our stores may be closest to you, whether you are within the allowed geographical ordering range of one of our stores, and to offer products and services to you. You can opt-out of sharing your geo-location information by changing the settings on your mobile device. If you choose to opt-out, it may disable certain features of our mobile applications; and
- We may collect any information you enter, share or that can be obtained from your use of our apps, games, contests, or promotions.
Your app store (e.g., iTunes or Google Play) may collect certain information in connection with your use of the App, such as personal information, payment information, geolocational information, and other usage-based data. We have no control over the collection of such information by a third-party app store, and any such collection or use will be subject to that third party’s applicable privacy policies. The App may contain links to third-party websites. We have no control over the privacy practices or the content of these websites. As such, we are not responsible for the content or the privacy policies of those third-party websites. You should check the applicable third-party Privacy Policy and Terms of Use when visiting any other websites.
Information You Give to Us
You authorize us to use the following personal information we collect, such as your first and last name, credit card number, email address, postal address, and telephone number that you provide when you interact with Royal Farms. Some examples are when you:
- Make an online or in-store purchase;
- Correspond with us;
- Register or create an account on the Sites;
- Participate in an online survey;
- Use our mobile apps to buy goods using a Royal Farms gift card;
- Sign up for our rewards program or other program or club; or
- Sign up for email and/or SMS news and alerts
Combined Information
Information you provide at Royal Farms retail stores may be combined with information that you provide online at the Sites, as well as with information about your interests and purchases we collect automatically. The information you provide to Royal Farms may also be combined with demographic and other information that is available from other sources in order to allow Royal Farms to better communicate with you and enhance our customer service and your shopping experience.
Do Not Track
Do Not Track (DNT) is a privacy preference that users can set in some web browsers, allowing users to opt out of tracking by websites and online services. At the present time, the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) has not yet established universal standards for recognizable DNT signals and therefore, Royal Farms and the Sites do not recognize DNT.
Global Policy Control
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals on royalfarms.com and www.roforewards.com if received. If you have enabled GPC in your browser or extension, it will be treated as a request to opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information collected through your browser or device. This means that we will not sell or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or other purposes when we detect a GPC signal. Information Use
We may use information about you for purposes described in this Policy or disclosed to you on the Sites. For example, we may use information about you to:
- Send you updates on the latest Royal Farms news, including information about new products, services, and offers that may be of interest to you including co-branded offers and affiliate and partner offers.
- Process and manage your purchase and use of Royal Farms products and services, including your accounts and program participation.
- Respond to your customer service inquiries, post your comments or statements on any blog or other online forum maintained on our website and other websites, or take other actions in response to your inquiries or other website activities.
- Create personalized promotions by combining your personal information with information about you, such as the amounts and types of purchases you make or any benefits you receive through our programs.
- Communicate with you about your orders or purchases, your services, accounts and program participation, a contest or sweepstakes you have entered, product recalls that may affect you, and your requests for information.

We participate in interest-based advertising and we or others may use information about you to deliver to you or allow you to see certain advertising based on your interests, searches you perform, information you provide, or your activity on the Sites or other websites.
Royal Farms may analyse certain Information in anonymized and aggregate form to operate, maintain, manage, and improve the App and/or such products and services. Royal Farms does not consider aggregate or combined data to be personal information. Royal Farms may also use this information to analyse and manage its businesses. Aggregate or combined data is collected from online and offline facilities and may be used to enhance the ability of Royal Farms to communicate with you and to support business functions such as internal business processes, marketing, authentication, customer service, fraud prevention, and public safety and legal functions. We may share this aggregate data to our affiliates, agents, business, and promotional partners, and other third parties. We may also disclose aggregated user statistics to other third parties for other lawful purposes which does not describe or identify an individual customer.
Royal Farms or its third-party vendors may collect non-identifiable information from user visits to the Sites in order to provide better customer service. Examples of such non-identifiable information includes tracking of the domains from which users visit, tracking numbers of visitors, measuring visitor activity or engagement on the Sites, website and system administration, user analysis, and business decision making. Such information is sometimes known as “clickstream data.” Royal Farms or its third-party vendors may use this data to analyse trends and statistics.
Any sweepstakes, raffles, surveys, games, or similar promotions offered by Royal Farms may be governed by specific rules and terms and conditions that are separate from and in addition to this Privacy Policy. By participating in any such sweepstakes, contest, raffle, survey, game, or similar promotion, you will become subject to those rules, including but not limited to receiving emails containing promotional communications and/or Royal Farms Rewards information.
We will retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Opt-Out
If you provide us with your email or postal address, or have done so in the past, we will ask you if we can use it to send you updates on the latest Royal Farms news. If you do not want us to contact you, you can choose to “opt out,” and Royal Farms will respect your wishes. You may manage your receipt of marketing and non-transactional communications by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link located on the bottom of any of our marketing e-mails.
If you opt out of receiving promotional communications from us whether online or on your mobile device, we may still send you non-promotional communications such as emails about your Royal Farms account, if you have one, or our ongoing business relations.
You cannot opt out of receiving transactional e-mails related to the App (e.g., requests for support). We may also deliver notifications to your mobile device (e.g., push notifications). You can disable these notifications by deleting the relevant service or by changing the settings on your mobile device. Customers can text STOP to 43751 to unsubscribe from texting.
We will use commercially reasonable efforts to process such requests in a timely manner. You should be aware, however, that it is not always possible to completely remove or modify information in our subscription databases.
California’s privacy laws require a company to provide notice to California users of their rights to receive information on to which entities their information was shared for direct marketing purposes. California residents who have an established business relationship with us may choose to opt out of our sharing their contact information with third parties for direct marketing purposes. Sharing Your Personal Information with Third Parties
Royal Farms may disclose your personal information to third parties only as necessary to deliver the services outlined in this policy (such as disclosures to third-party vendors such as payment processing or legal compliance). However, we do not share or sell personal information to third parties for any other purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, we may also disclose personal information: (i) When required by law, court order, or other government or law enforcement authority or regulatory agency; or (ii) Whenever we believe that disclosing such Information is necessary or advisable, for example, to protect the rights, property, or safety of us or others, including you.
With Other Parts of our Business and our Business Partners
Personal information collected by any part or department of Royal Farms’ business will be used in accordance with this Privacy Policy and may be shared with other parts or departments of Royal Farms’ business and with our business partners, including third parties, for use in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
With our Service Providers
We engage third-party companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples may include providing technical assistance, customer service, marketing assistance, and administration of promotional programs. If customer does not want cookie information to be associated with customer’s visits to these Sites, customer can set its browser to turn off cookies; however, Web beacon and other technologies will still detect visits to these pages, but the notices they generate cannot be associated with other nonidentifiable cookie information and are disregarded.
Updates or Changes to Your Information
You may update or change your personal information by calling us at 410-889-0200 and a representative will instruct you on how to update or change your personal information. You can also use the contact form on Royal Farms.com. To change your shipping or billing information for Royal Farms.com orders, log on, select “My Account” and make the appropriate changes.
Children’s Privacy
Royal Farms does not knowingly solicit, collect, or share personally identifiable information of children under the age of 13 without prior verifiable parental consent. If Royal Farms learns that a child under the age of 13 has submitted personally identifiable information online without parental consent, it will take all reasonable measures to delete such information from its databases and to not use such information for any purpose (except where necessary to protect the safety of the child or others as required or allowed by law). Company Commitment to Privacy
We take commercially reasonable steps to protect the Information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Please understand, however, that no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the security of our databases or the databases of the third parties with which we may share such Information, nor can we guarantee that the Information you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted over the internet. In particular, email sent to us may not be secure, and you should therefore take special care in deciding what information you send to us via email.

If customer chooses to use the Sites, customer’s actions is hereby deemed acceptance of Royal Farms practices described in this policy statement at the time of use and any dispute over privacy between customer and Royal Farms is subject to the provisions of this Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions which is hereby incorporated herein and which can be reviewed at royalfarms.com.
