BALTIMORE, May 03, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Baltimore-based Gas Station and Convenience Store Chain, Royal Farms, will be hosting a Tesla Super Charger ribbon cutting event in Gaithersburg, MD supported by the Maryland Tesla Owners Club on May 7^th at 2 p.m.

Royal Farms’ relationship with Tesla began in 2017, and currently has 14 locations with Tesla EV chargers open to the public. As EV vehicle sales continue to grow, they look to bring EV charging to an additional 25 Royal Farms stores through this existing partnership. Currently, these chargers are only for Tesla vehicles.

Royal Farms has been adding EV chargers to select locations since 2015 to align with the company’s culture of sustainability and their mission to delight customers in a way that creates loyalty. In addition to the Tesla charging network, Royal Farms has also finalized agreements with two leading EV charging network providers to upgrade existing chargers at 22 non-Tesla locations in MD, DE, and PA. Through these partnerships Royal Farms will not only replace the existing chargers, but also expand charging capacity at many of these locations. The existing charging network has an average of 20-25 minutes for an 80% charge. Royal Farms offers safe, well-lit locations that are conveniently located near major highways, with clean bathrooms, and World-Famous food service offerings that EV charging customers can take advantage of while they charge up.

BALTIMORE, April 24, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Baltimore-based Convenience Store Chain Royal Farms, known for its “World-Famous Chicken,” is expanding into Grandy, NC and establishing its support of the community with a donation to The Lower Currituck Food Pantry.

The Lower Currituck Food Panty serves Currituck County residents who struggle to make ends meet and are in need of emergency food assistance. Royal Farms will donate a truckload of products ranging from beverages, protein bars, snacks, and toilet paper on April 26^th. The Royal Farms in Grandy has received a warm welcome from residents with a sold-out soft opening event. The doors are set to open to the public on May 1^st.

Since then, Royal Farms has raised over $3 million dollars through their Coin Cannister initiative.

Royal Farms plans to continue their dedicated efforts in supporting the Johns Hopkins community. Royal Farms’ funds have helped support families with financial need by providing funds, alleviating stressful ancillary costs and financial burden, an absolute lifesaver for parents with children in the hospital. Additionally, unrestricted funds support the Child Life and Social Work programs, making the hospital a little less scary for Hopkins’ most vulnerable patients.
